Acquirer FAQs

Ten questions acquirers ask us

Straight answers on how it works, what stays under your control and how it is priced.

How does SIMPLIChargeback help us offer a dispute service to merchants?

It gives you a ready made dispute platform that you can offer as a value added service, with evidence retrieval, classification, drafting and controlled submission for your merchants. You choose how to price it: subscription, per case or success based.

Can we white label it?

Yes. You can brand the platform as your own and extend your portfolio without building in house capability. Branding and onboarding are agreed with you up front.

Does it work with merchants who use other processors too?

Yes. It is a neutral control plane that ingests disputes from multiple PSPs, acquirers and gateways into one canonical model, so your merchants are not limited to a single data boundary.

How do we monitor portfolio risk and VAMP?

You can follow merchant dispute trends and monitoring thresholds across your portfolio and act early. Visa holds acquirers accountable for the merchants in their portfolio, and acquirer thresholds are stricter than merchant ones. VAMP combines fraud reports and disputes into one monthly ratio, so confirm current thresholds for your region with Visa.

How does it handle scheme rules and deadlines?

A versioned scheme rule library and deadline engine tracks the response window for every dispute, across every processor, and escalates cases at risk of being late.

How does it improve the quality of merchant evidence?

Evidence is scored for completeness and quality before submission, and every statement in a draft cites a source. Weak cases are fixed or accepted early, which raises the standard of representments that reach the schemes.

What governance and audit does it provide?

Agents are permissioned, confidence and policy thresholds decide what needs human approval, and an immutable ledger records inputs, sources, model versions, approvals and outcomes. Audit retrieval is a pilot KPI.

How do we integrate?

Through secure APIs and file connectors, wrapped around existing infrastructure with no rip and replace. Our target is 2 to 3 days to integrate, depending on your data, and we confirm it in the pilot.

How is it priced for acquirers?

Pricing combines a platform subscription, per case fees and an optional capped success fee. Enterprise terms are custom, and a paid diagnostic with agreed baseline metrics comes first.

How do we measure success in a pilot?

We agree KPIs up front, such as on time submission rate across the portfolio, evidence completeness at first submission, false automation rate, cost per case and audit retrieval time, and report against them throughout.
